Salam, sorry i took a long time updating this blog. i was caught up with final preparation for my 4th daughter's new entry to Uitm Perak. Atih successfully registered as a Business Management (Human Resource) student at UITM Sri Iskandar on the 1st September. We arrived one day earlier, stayed at a homestay at Taman Maju, opposite of Tesco. See how famished we were. We actually came from Taiping and took the winding roads through Changkat Jering and a few other towns as friends claimed that the route was the fastest, well it could be true but frankly i would prefer using the Ipoh highway exit at Jelapang...biar jauh tapi senang....after all i am not the adventurous type.....
Then we did some last minute shopping ( tak berapa last le sebab pas tu mai lagi)before going to the homestay....yg dalam troli tu tak dapat dijual ye. About rm300 gone for entah apa2 stuff for Atih. From A to Z...all complete till the minute items.....registration day....the two patient brothers loyally waited for the sister to get the keys....all were seated in the hall....more Architecture students there......
Ok, now the keys were taken, the room was given, so off we went to Anggerik 1....jum angkat barang....this time we opted for recycled bags for our personal stuff to make way for atih's luggages......
This room can accommodate 3 students...2 are SPM leavers who are doing architecture..she is the big sister it seems..but not too big la...We helped her organize ...all contributed a bit, leaving our fingerprints here and there.....Even though the room is small, the locker cannot keep many things and the oscillating fan does not help reduce the heat, we believe Atih will survive here as she has gone through a lot of hardship in her life, this is only a tip in the iceberg.....
The ever sporting abah was busy completing the forms....but the one standing was the one with all the information......hehehe (the background wallpaper complimented the sweet scenario)Again the snapshot of the 2 supportive brothers....thank you very much for their strong muscles.....
Here came the last moment before we bid goodbye to atih...the puffing face explained all the cries, embraces, words of advice especially given to my 4th child......the others decided to stay in the car, too sad to express their emotions so all the tears dropping scene was done by umi and atih.....
We left the place at 3 pm......leaving her with our trails of hope and prayers that Atih will successfully carve a name in this university. She has all the opportunity, so grab it and prove that you can do it, because you have all our support...............Good Luck , ATIH
