I will surely start with Along, the eldest, who is now in Madinah, performing a 2-week umrah. Syukur this year he managed to book a trip with about 100 other students from Egypt who grabbed this holiday visiting the Holy cities, especially during fasting month, before they make a trip back to Malaysia for hariraya(4th August) and a long break until October.Alhamdulillah, 2 days ago Along called, happily telling us that he is now exercising all the necessary rituals in Madinah for 5 days. of course i am excited when he explained about him performing the solat sunat at Raudhah, a place where all our prayers will be granted by Allah, insyaallah. Pray for all of us, Along, all the good things in life for our family, friends and all Muslims. The second week will be spent in Mekah. Wah so interesting as he can perform fasting in Mekah..what an experience, right? We, in Malaysia also pray for Along's safe and fulfilling umrah. Dont forget the special, delicious dates after that okay.
Today, Akak, just arrived in Shah Alam and then headed to Melaka for her one month practical. Well, dont ask me what she will be doing, my knowledge about this Geomatic course is nil. I just know she will do some surveying stuffs. Hope she can endure the fasting month n the course successfully....no excuse eh.....no complaints of fatigue or tiredness. Do this sincerely and all the good things will present themselves to you. o hope you will not suffer from breathing problems like before...no semput2 okay....eat moderately and take some suitable vitamins to help you face the days.....3 days before raya Akak will return, i think not enough for her to help me with the raya preparations...well umi pun malas nak buat kuih raya....point point aje.....
Bob just arrived from Gombak this evening, getting a ride from a friend who wants to start the first fasting day in Kedah. i like that because the more, the merrier. At least he can spend 3 days with us before he returns to UIA for his short sem. He too will only return a few days before raya. There goes my handyman for cleaning purposes. guess i will have to make do with whatever minute and minor decorations...if i am rajin too, if not, it will be the same la. Since most of ramadhan will be spent in Gombak, Bob will just get the food for berbuka there.....hang atur kedai la Bob....koay teow kungfu, no vege, no sotong, no pedas....that's his favourite....
Atih is now busy preparing for her new life in univ...all the medical check-up, bank account, PTPTN, zakat etc....so this fasting month would be her last moment with us. Sept 1, she will begin her life as a u student at UITM Sri Iskandar, Perak. hehe...dah rezeki nak jadi orang Bota......I know she can survive because she has the skills in managing her life, just like last time she was in Matric. chaiyok Atih.......
Eman will also come home tomorrow for first ramadhan. pity him, this time, his focus is more on his SPM trial that will start 1st August. I am quite worried about this, but deep inside i know he can do it. Just give him some time, and our prayers are always with him. If he does well, he will be following the brothers and sisters step next year, insyaallah. I hope he likes doing something about Syariah...agama gitu... at least i have someone who focuses on religion stuffs...that is the most important knowledge, right?
Adik? Adik will always be an adik......slow motion and just follow the mood of the day....i can almost see her slowly moving around the house especially this fasting month. rest assured, she will be as quiet as a mouse and will only stir a bit for time berbuka...hehe...she is enjoying this as she still has brothers and sisters to care for her....biarla.nanti bila Atih pi, hang tau la......
Alin and Ayish...tak boleh dipisahkan, bagai irama dan lagu.....if they are apart, they miss each other like crazy, if they are together, the house will be full of shrieking and bickering....and running and jumping and many more ing.......if they are not around, the house will be so quiet....i dont like that. But if they start fasting, hopefully, they will not quarrel much....lapaq....i dont know if Ayish can stand the hunger....lets see first.....
So all in all, i can predict a very hectic month for us, for me and my other half, actually, as we lead our days, tending to their needs and requests....sure banyak especially berbuka time.....ikutlah depa nak makan apa....janji depa pi beli sendiri....SALAM RAMADHAN TO ALL READERS.....
