This afternoon the college organized a farewell party for one of our counsellors, Pn Normi who is retiring today. The program was short and sweet, well for us but for her, it was surely very touching and sad as this is her last day at this college.
Frankly, we did not really know her that close as she is still new and we did not get that many chances to mingle and gain knowledge from her vast experience in counselling.
witnessing that ceremony made many of us thinking about our own retirement...well to be precise, my own in 11 years time( if umi larat sampai 58). surely umi dislike being the centre of attention, showing my legacy chewah....
umi would just dash off like that, leaving behind bewildered friends, bidding them a simple hi,hi bye,bye...and off i go to the lake to fish......
There will be,of course , a CD that i will do a year earlier, depicting a collection of my old photos....none of a baby one but with the latest techno, sure i can invent one...at that time, amik gambar cucu n do some superimpose....
Umi does not have any of the SKIRTY ones, no rambut karan, no tocang, no bas sekolah. all i have would be snow, airplane, apple picking time, skiing( ada ka), wedding canada style and all the ENGLISH stuff, biar orang meluat tengok. kan this time is for shiok sendiri.
Adui, writing about this makes me feel sooooooooooooooo old whereas i am still young, younger than most of my colleagues, so....no need to think about this. kan kan.....
