Adik Turns 15

Adik reached 15 toady...my, how time flies. I can still remember clearly how she was born at Jitra Hospital....Actually i had mild pain from nite until day and she was only delivered at 9.30pm...a long wait. The evening before i asked abah for a bowl ( mind you,  i imagined a crystal bowl) of lai chi kang.....and you know what he brought home? just a plastic of pasar malam lai chi kang. I was so disappointed as it was far from my imagination.  I poured it into a mug and drank that throughout the nite. The next morning , the pain slowly yet regularly alerted me ......i waited until evening then only i went to the hospital....well everything was fine and she appeared that nite.....syukur.....

Among the brothers and sisters, Adik is the quiet one....but when she opens her mouth.....hmmmmm....i am sure people will ask, why is she called Adik when she has two more adiks.......Hmmmm i thought she would be the last child so Adik suits her......funny thing is Alin and Ayish also call her Adik aka Faizah.

When she was young i used to dodoi ( lull her to sleep) by singing a nasyid-like song that goes::

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Al Faizah...ah...ah.....ah alfalaizah ah ah ah.....

She is also the fairest of all.....when small you could see  a lot of small, red lines on her face. The ignorant me asked the doctor; Awat muka dia merah dr? Dr jawab: la sebab dia putih la, semua urat nampak.....uh mana umi tau.......

This year, she is sitting for her PMR and we hope she will follow the row of scorers.....insyaallah. Happy Birthday, Pak Mulan ( the popular chinese cartoon was shown during her time and i used to call her that)
