We are left with Adik only tonite. Alin and Ayish already made a promise to spend overnight at their sitter's house. bidding bye-bye to umi is a no problem thing to them....adui....one thing about them...they can divide their love and attention between their umi and mak in a flash....it only shows that their sitter, Pn Suwaibah is really a caring mak, entertain their whims and fancies, unlike umi.
let me reveal a little bit about this lady. Actually in 1982, while umi was waiting for my SPM results, umi n friend, Cik Maznah ( now a uitm lecturer) attended a typing class in Jitra....and our teacher was none other than this kak......so we became close and we even went to her house in Padang Sera for lunch.....i even suggested that my brother took her as his wife....but no jodoh katakan.
When we ( Cik Maznah and Umi) went overseas to continue our studies, we lost contact with her for years and finally one day, she contacted me, saying that she got my number by asking my brother who was working at Maybank that time. it was in 2002, i guess. Then one day, when Alin was 9 months, her sitter, Mak Cik Ton could not take care of her anymore so i went on a frantic search for a new sitter. Suddenly i remembered kak Su......so happen, she told me that she was looking after her neighbour's son....and the good news was, she was willing to take Alin. Syukur alhamdulillah.....then came Ayish n still she continues looking after them. so it has been almost 9 years and this long relationship is tightly formed and maintained.
So, it is not a surprise if they tergedik-gedik if they get the chance to sleep at mak's house.......never mind.....we only have Adik, the no noise, no sound, no movement one at home........
