Syukur, today our unit created a history by organizing Speakers' Corner, a platform set especially for our students to express their views on any topic close to their hearts. Our new Director was kind enough to officiate this event, which i am sure will be a popular spot on Monday at 1pm....
Our 2 strong men, Mr Shahrin( dark blue) and Mr Dhanapala ( light blue ) plus the committee whose dedication and passion helped to materialize this...hope more beneficial activities will be conducted this session for our beloved students.
Of course we English Unit lecturers assembled to offer our sincere support to Speakers' Corner...actually a brainchild of our former director but only today we could turn it into a reality. The crowd was not really encouraging because of fasting month so the cafeteria area was deserted. After raya, surely it will be brimmed with interested viewers and supporters.
The first, lucky fella who took the stage and regaled us with his Doreamon and Embrace Your Dream...a light but meaningful topic. He led us back to our childhood when we were very ambitious with lists of things to do but in the end, all went into the drain....i still remember my dream to be a writer and now...i only manage to be a blogger....write juga kan?...but we still have the chance to chase our dream now as the world offers a lot of opportunities for us....so buck up and speed up for our dreams......Congratulations.......
