Today, upon arriving home, i immediately alerted abah, asking him to send me to Yawata because i wanted to do some shopping, preparing for the oncoming predicted inevitable flood that is claimed to hit our country within this week..Ayish's Dupro, beehoon, instant mee,sugar, flour, milk, sardine, coconut powder, the frozen stuff, bread and finally the bill came at rm261....ha baru puas hati......alamak i forgot eggs.
The cloud already turned dark and intimidating when i finished paying for the groceries. I was very scared that the rain would come again...prayed that our place would not be visited by the flood....last year's experience taught me a lesson. Even though our house was not affected by the rising water, the surrounding roads and town were badly destroyed. So this time, i must be more prepared to avoid the same difficulties in getting the food ration for the family.
But, what worries me the most if i could not go to visit my mom if the roads to her house are cut off...sapa nak jenguk dia. My brother in Taman rasa Sayang is surely nervously waiting for this moment as his house was badly hit by the murky water as his house is near the river. This time, he already added another floor of his house, so hopefully he will be able to rescue his belongings before the flood comes.
Since Thailand is now facing a very serious flood problem due to stagnant water, somehow, they might release some to our country and if so, Changlun,, my workplace will be first affected. Luckilly we will have a two week break, so that could give us some peace of mind.
However, we can only prepare,predict, but Allah knows the best. if the rain comes,, then it will come and no matter what we do, we can never escape from that. just pray hard that we will be protected from the harm and serious mishap.....doa banyak-banyak ye kkwan.
