Raya Craze

Salam,

Hmmm.....it's been a long time...well almost a week umi did not post any entry....busy weh...since umi has to handle 2 houses, it takes most of my week holiday clearing the compound....those never had the experience clearing the dead banana leaves would think that this is peanuts...but when you  actually do it.......you will have persistent backpain....imagine tok's compound is surrounded by hundreds of banana clumps.....

Since tok wan passed away n tok bedridden, the place turns into a jungle....so umi had to clean it, worried that some stray firecrackers that are played by neighbours' children might land in tok's compound....it happens every year and umi just cannot understand why the parents never advise their children....one thing that irritates umi  the most is, if they want to play, dont target our house....but it seems that they never care about other people's feeling.  tok just cries alone....if we say anything, they will ignore and target our house even more.......so, umi had to clear the kuinin's dried leaves and banana leaves, cause they might catch fire.......only one thing that umi cannot do..that is trimming the grass, so umi hopes my nephew will do it.....hope.

As for umi's house, the same goes, work never ends. want to find Indon also difficult so umi n children have to do the cleaning, inside out.......at the same time, umi sempat lagi dok jahit manik kat baju raya.......so they will look expensive hehe......so everytime umi goes shopping, one thing that umi focuses is the designs of the baju kurung displayed.....balik rumah umi tiru le...but i am no expert, nanti depa tak leh cari makan lak......

last nite umi just baked Cornflakes  Madu.....malas la this year.....habis penyukat harta merdak buat kuih raya hilang so minat pun kureng sikit. if i am rajin, tonite i will make another type...if not, tomorrow, i buy more kuih......

Open house this time is on the fourth of hariraya...on Friday after solat.So everyone is cordially invited...menu????? secret.........Selamat hari raya all.Maaf zahir batin
