To be able to sleep yesterday nite was a big problem as the music played by the cd vendor at wakaf Che yeh was very, i mean VERY loud. it went on until 2 or 3am. i wonder are there people who still buy stuff at the wee hour in the morning. well, maybe this is their norm...i am surprise.
Our subuh was quite late (subuh gajah orang tua2 kata)n umi hurried everyone up ...but still we could only left Ombak Inn at about 10am....my tummy was already playing all kind of rock music...lapar...so we stopped at Pg. Chepa wet market...adui arrays of food attracted umi alot. teringat zaman mengajar kat sana dulu...macam2 ada...tahi itek, jala mas, akok, apam, che mek, puteri mandi n macam2 lagi.....mek yang dok juai nasi berlauk pun masih ada, dah tembam semacam, masih lagi gagah menjual..dulu kecik aje.
umi bought 3 packets of nasi berlauk, 3 nasi kerabu, 3 nasi dagang n some kuih...puas hati aku. As always Mak jah, kak Bi n tok were surprised to see us...kak bi just got a baby..so meriah...abah bantai nasi dagang 2 bungkus, terus touch down...at 12, we left their house n headed towards Penang.
umi took the turn to drive from Jeli to Gerik.. the winding roads were indeed challenging, Myvi has no pick up, so the drive was quite slow....especially when we had to tail lori balak...takut gak ....from gerik, we took Kulim Butterworth highway and reached masjid Seberang Jaya at 6.30, fetched along who came back from his course in balik Pulau. then, we went to B-Suite in Bukit jambul. after 2 games of bowling , we are now at the hotel. letih tok sah kata la....insyaallah esok kami balik.Nite everyone..or should i say, morning....
