Syukur, yesterday umi n abah celebrated our 25th ann.....jiwang tul rasanya......we went shopping together , not surrounded by children, in SP.....rekindled our marriage which took place in an apartment on De Maisonnaive Street, Montreal.....the solemnization was done by an imam from a mosque...an Iranian fellow.....of course we got aruah tok wan's permission first.

25 years ago, we were still slim and steady....holding hands when walking ......life was so blissful...and of course the intimacy is still preserved.......but both successfully managed to increase our weight....orang tua2 kata...pandai jaga, sebab tu gemuk.......

The whole 25 years witnessed our cooperation in taking care of our 8 children....the first 4 childless years saw us comforting each other when people talked about our inability to have children. God is The Greatest....He gave us 8....ha ...apa lagi orang nak kata........

We complemented each other in raising the children, of course we did quarrel ( umi normall win)...but that only shows that we discuss whatever action we want to take, to minimize problems.....but the quarrel never lasted long.....long time ago umi used to write letters.....plus drops of tears lagi so that abah would pujuk......now, umi use anak2......

the ups and downs of our marriage actually taught us to be better, if not the best.......and each day is a lesson........as we do not know whether we will get the chance to celebrate our golden anniversary (50 years)......

To all my children.....umi n abah want to express our deepest thank for being our angels....just remember...we also take the day as it comes, so if we make mistakes, those are not intentionable......just take what is good, and forget what is bad.......

last nite, umi slept past midnite...umi went through all the photos in our old albums...its really a miracle...looking at those innocent faces who are now very big, tall and ........

Umi slept, holding abah's hand tightly.................Syukur Ya Allah.....
